Trip to the Archaeological Museum of Vergina (Royal Tombs) and Thessaloniki sightseeing bus tour

The Archaeological Museum of Vergina (one hour trip from Thessaloniki) has some of the most impressive and important exhibits from the Macedonian dominated period of the Greek history. Manolis Andronikos and his associates under the Great Tumulus of Vergina village in Imathia, Central Macedonia in 1977 brought to light the most important archaeological discovery of the 20th century in Greece (the burial site of the kings of Macedon, including the tomb of Philip II, father of Alexander the Great.). The one day excursion includes: Tour bus to travel from Thessaloniki to Vergina and back, tourist guide to guide you in Thessaloniki and Vergina, admission to Vergina Museum, sightseeing in the city of Thessaloniki with selected stops in important monuments and historical sites.

An original gastronomical experience, for those who want to understand the Greek traditional delicacies. You will have the chance to walk through the history of food that took place in the area of Thessaloniki, taste local food, and walk through some of the oldest food markets of Europe.
